NEW YORK (Oct. 14, 2022) – Citeline Connect, an end-to-end clinical trial engagement and recruitment solution, seeking to incorporate the patient voice during the design stage of custom clinical trial websites, partners with Savvy Cooperative, a research platform that connects diverse patients and caregivers with accessible and interactive ways to share their experiences with health innovators, for patient feedback on the end-user experience.
During the two-day project, 15 patients analyzed visuals and provided their feedback on different elements of a Citeline Connect clinical trial landing page, screening questions, and post-screen interactions. Specific feedback focused on trial details such as side effects, recruitment of diverse applicants, eligibility criteria, and patient-centric aspects such as plain language and user-friendliness.

Citeline Connect has integrated learnings from the project into a set of best practices used in creating clinical trial websites for sponsors. Websites designed following these guidelines and based on the new user experience have seen an average 6% decline in visitor drop-off rate.
