On April 27, 2016, Informa will host its inaugural Clinical and Research Excellence (CARE) Awards to honor those in clinical R&D who are making a difference and committed to making human lives better. The awards will recognize the great minds, talent and hard work of the unsung heroes within the pharmaceutical industry.

We invite you to join us and other leaders in the industry at the CARE Awards ceremony, taking place in Boston, MA at the State Room, and celebrate the outstanding clinical research achievements from 2015. The awards will showcase excellence in clinical trial design, technological advancements within the industry, outstanding research results, as well as achievements of individuals, departments, teams, or organizations. Award winners will have contributed to the advancement of therapies for unmet medical needs, undertaken ground-breaking collaborations, and contributed to positive clinical outcomes while demonstrating best practices and innovation.

Entering the CARE Awards is free, and will be independently judged. Don’t miss out on your chance to shine in one (or more) of the following categories:

o Most Successful Early Phase Trial (Preclinical & Phase I)

o Most Innovative Clinical Trial Design

o Clinical Trial Result of the Year

o Best Advance in Biomarkers

o Best Technological Development in Clinical Trials

o R&D Team of the Year

o Clinical Research Team of the Year

o Clinical Partnership of the Year

o Best Use of Companion Diagnostic

o Best Newcomer (Company)

o Lifetime Achievement

Additionally, a Marquee Award ‘R&D Excellence’ will be given based on Informa’s proprietary R&D Excellence league table.

These categories have been selected to acknowledge the increasingly complex and fast-paced environment within the clinical research arena. The teams and individuals who meld together scientific advancements, technology, and innovation to bring new medicines to market help not just their company or organization, but society as a whole, and should be fully recognized.

Entries are now open, with a closing date of February 19th. All details on the CARE Awards, including information on the ceremony, category details, and how to enter, are available at

Best of luck! And we look forward to seeing you on April 27th.
