The diverse group of finalists, chosen by a highly respected independent panel of experts from across the sector, represent a wealth of innovation, unwavering commitment and passion to making human lives better through clinical research.
The complete list of finalists is available on the 2018 CARE Awards website.
Karen Currie, Executive Director, Citeline said, “The CARE Awards are truly about the people at the heart of clinical research. It takes an incredible amount of time and effort to bring a new drug to market and those who dedicate themselves to this endeavor have remarkable passion and perseverance. We look forward to celebrating the innovation, creativity and talents of the individuals behind the development of new and promising medicines.”
“This year’s entries set a new standard, and the judges had a difficult task in selecting the finalists from a record number of submissions,” said Doro Shin, Thought Leadership Manager, Citeline. “We received a high volume of jointly-submitted nominations and a record number of organizations participating. The high level of collaboration and commitment to a shared mission is evident in this year’s nominations.”
The CARE Awards gathers distinguished leaders in the biopharmaceutical, CRO and diagnostic industries to acknowledge its highest achievers. This year’s CARE Award winners will be announced at a ceremony that will take place at the Boston Harbor Hotel, USA on Wednesday April 25, 2018. Multi-media journalist Janet Wu will once again preside over the CARE Awards ceremony. Ms. Wu is well known as a former long-time Anchor/Health Reporter for Boston’s NBC affiliate TV station, and currently contributes health reports to two networks, as well as serving as an adjunct professor at Emerson College.
“Clinical and research excellence is driven by the people and organizations who dedicate their lives to advancing new therapies with the hope of changing the lives of others,” adds Shin. “We look forward to welcoming the leaders and global representatives of the industry for an evening of celebration.”
