London – 6 March, 2020 – The best in the British OTC industry were honoured during the dazzling OTC Marketing Awards 2020 ceremony at the Royal Lancaster London hotel in Hyde Park on 5 March. Industry luminaries from across the UK and beyond gathered for the gala dinner and awards presentation, as Informa Pharma Intelligence recognised the top achievements of the year across a full range of OTC activities.
The biggest winners at the OTC Marketing Awards 2020 were Perrigo and Teva with three each. Perrigo picked up OTC Launch of the Year and OTC Brand Revitalisation of the Year for Bronchostop, as well as the coveted Company of the Year Award. Meanwhile, Teva took home two Awards for their innovative and successful Infacol campaigns, plus the Best Big Budget OTC Marketing Campaign Award for Sudocrem.
Other winners of the evening included Pfizer, presented with OTC Brand of the Year for Viagra Connect, while Tesco Pharmacy was recognised as Best OTC Multiple Retailer of the Year.
