Privacy Notice

This online privacy notice is applicable to site investigators who appear in SiteTrove products (“investigators” or “you”). It is designed to tell you about how Informa Business Intelligence Inc. (”we” or “us”) collect and use information so that you can make an informed choice about being listed on (“our site”).


We collect information from publicly listed registries, and other sources such as hospital trial postings, IRB approval sites, press releases, or published trial results for the purpose of providing comprehensive trial intelligence to our customers ("Purpose”).

This information is limited to investigator contact details, such as name, title, speciality and email, telephone, address contact information.


We are committed to respecting the privacy rights of investigators and regularly review our information sources to ensure they are accurate, legitimate and reliable.

• Where possible, we cross-check and verify the information collected from various data sources.
• We only collect information that is required for the Purpose
• We only retain information for as long as necessary.

Information is electronically prioritised for our customers based on trial experience.


We use a number of technologies and operational procedures to protect data we collect. Physical security of data on our equipment is provided by a combination of firewalls and password protection. However, whilst we use all reasonable measures we cannot guarantee the complete security of your data as we do not have control of the internet.


The data that we collect about you will be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (”EEA”). It will also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers, however, we have taken appropriate steps to ensure the same level of protection for the processing carried out in those countries as within the European Economic Area.
